چکیده

Abstract The tourism sector is growing rapidly, and this has greatly stimulated economic growth around the world; however, environmental degradation that implies cannot be ignored. In order to achieve sustainable tourism, it important study link between quality. Therefore, objective of was investigate relationship CO 2 emissions from 1995 2018 in a sample 20 Latin American countries. Econometric techniques cointegration causality were used evaluate these variables. To test consistency vectors, dynamic ordinary least squares (DOSL) model applied for individual countries panel (PDOLS) groups results show revenues have negative effect on global upper‐middle‐income (UMICs). This result statistically significant. However, as increase, they start positive significant per capita, globally UMICs. These results, which are contrary theory, form U shape, does not support ecological Kuznets curve.
